Description
Our Multilingual addon is not currently compatible with custom layouts created with the Layout Editor.
- This means that the various language links, typically shown in the footer (see below), will not be displayed on custom layouts. Additionally, the interface will not be translated when viewing a custom layout page.
📝 NOTE: Languages set through subcommunities do work as expected with custom layouts. This issue is specific to languages made available through the Multilingual addon.
Workaround
Instead of using a custom layout, you can use any of our available legacy layouts. The Multilingual addon continues to work with legacy layouts (and on all other pages).
